Escape the stress of life to the rural desert 30 min from downtown Phoenix. Listen to coyotes sing. Check out the Milky Way. Get kissed by a horse. Go for a hike or ride your mountain bike right out the back door. We are close to Avondale, Glendale, Tolleson, Buckeye, Peoria, Laveen, and Surprise.
The Room
When you enter this cozy room you’ll know that you’ve found your home away from home. With super comfy Queen bed, this a comfortable room has plenty of space. Each of our rooms has a well appointed private bath with all sorts of little things you may need. Each suite has an outside entrance as well as luxury linens, iron/ironing board, robes, hair dryer, microwave, and mini-fridge. A roll away bed is available.
Guest access
Guests have access to the hot tub, living room, dining room, bar, patios, and horse barn. Laundry and Kitchen access is also available WiFi is provided,
Interaction with guests and meals
We have a happy hour each evening with complementary wine and beer. A wonderful southwest style gourmet breakfast is served daily. Please let us know if you have any dietary/food restrictions.Â
The neighborhood and getting around
We live in the rural desert, but do have friendly neighbors that get together for a pot luck and singing around the campfire every now and then. The closest gas station is 4 miles. Grocery, restaurants, and banking is 7 miles away. There is no public transportation near us. Lyft does pick up and drop off at our place.
Other things to note
We’re retired engineer empty nesters. If you want to get away from the stress of life, we’re the place. We live in a remote area of the desert. We have family meals nearly every night with our neighbors, who happen to be Mark’s Mom and Step-Dad. You are welcome to join us!
